Piet is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in banking and private equity, with a strong focus on international markets. He serves as Managing Director of the Edgepoint Group and holds board positions in various investee companies, underscoring his expertise in facilitating international investments.

Piet began his career in 1995 with ABSA Bank Ltd and later co-founded Circin Capital (Pty) Ltd in 2001, specialising in corporate finance, investment banking, and private equity. His extensive banking experience led him to co-found Edgepoint as a consulting platform to promote investment opportunities, primarily in Africa and Europe. Piet holds a BCom Honours in Economics and a Higher Diploma in Education, both from the University of Stellenbosch.
